Space-Time Reading Group

at the University of Washington

The Space-Time Reading Group meets weekly to discuss current research in spatiotemporal statistics and related fields.

In Spring 2019, we are discussing spatial models motivated by physical processes. In particular, this includes the use of stochastic partial differential equations and dynamical models to design statistical models of spatial processes (as in Lindgren, Rue, and Lindström (2011)).

Meetings are on Mondays from 1:30pm - 2:30pm in the CSSS conference room (Padelford C14A). Light refreshment will be provided.

This year, Space-Time Reading Group is jointly organized by John Best and Peter Gao. To receive updates about meetings and other upcoming events, please sign up for the listhost.
